Prof. Abdelfatah Mohamed Mansour (A. M. Mansour) is a Professor of Solid State Physics at the National Research Centre (NRC), Egypt. He received his Ph.D. in Solid State Physics from Menoufia University in 2010. His research focuses on the structural, optical, electrical, magnetic, and thermal properties of semiconductors, polymers, nanostructures, and thin films, employing diverse synthesis techniques such as sol-gel, solvothermal, and electrodeposition.
Prof. Mansour has published more than 95 articles in peer-reviewed international journals and contributed book chapters, including to the Handbook of Nanosensors (Springer, 2024). He has been consistently recognized among Elsevier’s standardized citation indicators (2020–2023). His international experience includes a secondment at Qassim University, Saudi Arabia (2010–2016) and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center of Microelectronics in Provence, France (2018).
He is the recipient of several awards, including the Professor Faeqa Fahmy Hanna Award (2021), the Pioneers Award in Physical Sciences (2022), and the Mohamed Amin Lotfy Award (2023).
His current research interests emphasize advanced functional nanomaterials for optoelectronics, magnetic sensors, energy storage, and environmental applications.
