Dr. Amit Kumar Kesharwani is a Postdoctoral RA at IAREC, Washington State University, United States. His postdoctoral research has focused on the development of advanced diagnostic tools (CRISPR/Cas) for early diagnosis of phytoplasma infection in fruit trees and analysis of antimicrobial resistance in Erwinia causing Fire blight disease of apple and pear. He received a B.Sc. degree in Science from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, and M.Sc. degree in Microbiology from Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, India. Dr. Kesharwani researched on black rot disease of Brassicaceae crops and earned his Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology from the Amity University Noida and Indian Agricultural Research Institute, India. He is fellow and member of prestigious scientific societies and actively served in various scientific journals as an editor and reviewer.
