Propose A Special Issue

Special Issues at Probiologists

Probiologists frequently compiles collections of articles centered on specific research topics within its journals under the special issue category. These special issues are designed to showcase the latest advancements in their respective fields. Managed by the journal's editors or Guest Editors, they provide an excellent opportunity to elevate your academic profile and establish yourself as a leading voice in your discipline.

Probiologists invites researchers and practitioners to propose guest-edited special issues.

Guidelines for Special Issue Guest Editor(s)

Guest Editors play a critical role in managing the review process for the assigned special issue. In accordance with Probiologists' policies, all submitted articles must be peer-reviewed by at least two independent reviewers, similar to regular journal submissions. Submissions must also adhere to the journal’s article submission guidelines, and any deviations must be approved by the Guest Editor.here.

The responsibilities of Guest Editors align with those of journal editors. Further details on journal editor responsibilities can be found [here]. Guest Editors are expected to coordinate the editorial process with the Editor-in-Chief or the editorial office. For efficiency, they can seek assistance from the editorial board or office staff.

Accepted articles from the special issue will be published simultaneously in the regular journal issue and showcased online within the designated Special Issue section.

If your special issue proposal is approved, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Names, affiliations, institutional emails, and postal addresses of all Guest Editors.
  • Short biographies, updated CVs, and recent photographs of all Guest Editors for the journal’s special issue webpage.
