Prerna Mehta is an accomplished microbiologist and educator renowned for her significant contributions to the fields of microbiology, research, and education. With a strong commitment to advancing scientific knowledge, Prerna has published over 12 research papers, more than 10 book chapters, and 3 books, addressing topics such as cognitive creations, intellectual property rights, and the application of nanoparticles in agriculture.

Her scholarly work has gained recognition in prestigious journals, reflecting her expertise and influence in the scientific community. Prerna serves as a reviewer for 41 different journals, including notable publications such as the Environmental Science and Pollution Research and the Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biological Sciences. Additionally, she holds editorial positions in various academic journals, where she contributes to shaping the future of research in her field.

Throughout her career, Prerna has played significant leadership roles, including serving as the Ambassador of the Microbiologists Society of India and Chairperson of the CGIP Organizing Executive Board.
