Biography

Dr. Reza Rastmanesh was formerly affiliated with Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, from 2004 to 2010, where he supervised numerous clinical projects. Dr. Rastmanesh has a broad range of research interests, including, but not limited to, ocular microbiota and ocular pharmacokinetics. He is a member of the American Physical Society, Maryland, USA, and the Nutrition Society, London, UK.

Research Interest

Gut and ocular microbiota, nutritional ophthalmology, melatonin, sleep studies, dry eye, time perception, memory, cognition, brain energetic and thermodynamics.
