Biography

Dr Joe Thomas (MSc, PhD, FRSPH) is an accomplished author, academic, diplomat and a global leader in Public Health, Rights and Development issues. Dr Thomas has been active in Global Health and Social Development for over 25 years. He has excellent leadership qualities and outstanding administrative and specific technical expertise in public health policies, reproductive health, and health rights. He also works with fragile settings, research, data analysis, and preparing scientific reports. In addition, he has proven excellent experience in the administration and management of complex multi-stakeholder public health projects of high-level strategic engagements and proven expertise in a cross-cutting, multi-cultural work environment in Africa and Asia.
