Biography

Dr. Wala Ben Kridis is an Associate Professor of Medical Oncology at Habib Bourguiba Hospital, University of Sfax, Tunisia. She holds a doctorate in medicine and a PhD in Biological Sciences. She also earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Research in Medical Sciences, along with several specialized certifications, including those in Pedagogy, Head and Neck Cancer, Bone Tumors, and Medical English.

Since November 2016, Dr. Ben Kridis has been an integral part of the Medical Oncology department at Habib Bourguiba Hospital, where she has contributed significantly to clinical research and oncology education. She is also a reviewer for various prestigious journals such as the Journal of International Medical Research, Radiation Oncology, Therapeutic Advances in Medical Oncology, and Future Oncology, and serves as an editor for PLoS One and Frontiers in Oncology. Dr. Ben Kridis is the President of the Educational Development Committee at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sfax.

Research Interest

Her research primarily focuses on breast, stomach, and lung cancers, with notable contributions to studies on prognostic factors, immune profiling, and genetic mutations in cancer patients.
