Journal Info

Publication Type

The Journal of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing the field of allergy and immunology. Guided by the principle of redefining scientific communication, we operate under the Creative Commons Attribution CC BY-NC 4.0 license, ensuring all articles are freely accessible. Readers can read, share, use, distribute, and reproduce published works, provided the original author and source are credited. Unlike traditional subscription-based journals, the Journal of Allergy and Infectious Diseases does not charge readers for access.

Publication Frequency and Model

The journal follows an annual publication frequency. To expedite the dissemination of research, we adopt a Continuous Publication Model. This approach allows articles to be published online immediately after completing peer review, copyediting, and acceptance processes, ensuring they are quickly accessible in fully citable format with DOI. This model does not compromise the rigor of our peer-review or evaluation standards.

Peer-Review Process

The peer-review process is the cornerstone of our commitment to scientific integrity and quality. All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous single-blind peer review, where:

·         Reviewers’ identities remain anonymous to authors.

·         Authors’ identities are visible to reviewers.

This traditional method minimizes biases and ensures a fair and thorough assessment of submitted work. Articles are initially screened and assigned to an editor, who then engages external reviewers to evaluate the manuscript’s significance, quality, and eligibility for publication.
