Biography

Gholamreza Rafiee, was born on September 28, 1963 in Tehran, Iran. I finished my early education in Tehran and obtained two Diploma, one in the field of Electro-technique and the other in Biology. I was accepted as Bachelor student, in the field of Fishery and Environmental Studies, at the Faculty of Natural Resources in Tehran University in 1986 and graduated in 1990. I continued my study for the degree of Master of Science (MSc) in the field of fishery at the Faculty of Natural Resource in Tarbiat Modarress University and graduated in 1994. In 1995, I was employed as an academic member at the Department of Fishery and Environmental Sciences, Natural Resources Faculty, in Tehran University, I got my Ph.D degree in the field of Aquaculture Technology at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Putra, Malaysia in 2002.

Aquaculture technology: Fish propagation and production, Marine fish culture, Aquaponics and Integrated systems, Recirculating aquaculture systems. Water quality management. Natural Resources Management
