Dr. Ansari completed his Ph.D. in Reproductive Toxicology from Kanpur University, Kanpur, India and had pursued several postdoctoral studies before taking his current position at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, FL., USA. Dr. Ansari’s expertise includes defining the role of toxicants on transport processes, and replication, maintenance, and application of plasmid in recombinant protein expression, biotechnology, protein-protein, and protein-DNA interactions. Dr. Ansari has published more than fifty-two peer-reviewed articles and has presented his work in several meetings of national and international repute. Dr. Ansari serves as the reviewer and editorial board member for several journals. His research focusses on defining the role of environmental toxicants in regulation of genes involved in fibrogenic and hypertensive processes.
Regulation of human angiotensinogen and CYP11B2 (aldosterone synthase) genes by xenobiotics and their role in hypertension and in organ fibrosis. Biological activity and mechanism of transcriptional interference by environmental toxicants. Mechanism of Hepatosteatosis after Xenobiotics: Role of Transcriptional Activation and Transport Processes. Role of transport protein(s) variants in drug toxicity and safety.
