Taufeeque Ali, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, where he investigates cancer epigenetics and novel therapeutic targets, including the role of EZH2 and BMI1 in aggressive cancers. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). Dr. Ali's research focuses on developing innovative cancer therapies, particularly ROS-activated prodrugs and tumor-selective drug activation strategies, which have resulted in a filed patent and multiple high-impact publications in journals such as European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Cancers, and Bioorganic Chemistry. His expertise is recognized through his extensive service as an invited peer reviewer for prestigious journals including Cancer Research (AACR) and Cell Signaling. Dr. Ali is a recipient of the NIH Grant and the UWM Innovator Award for his translational research contributions.
