Biography

Vincenza Rita Lo Vasco received her MD with specialization in Medical Genetics from Padua Medical School and PhD from the University of Bologna. From 2004 to 2019 she worked as an Assistant Professor at University of Rome "Sapienza”. Since 2019 she was associate professor at Florence University. Since 2020 she has been working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Biomedical, Metabolic and Neuroscience Sciences, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. She is serving as an Editor for several reputed international journals.

Research Interest

Research interests include characterization of gene expression and morphological characterization of PLC expression mainly in bone cells and osteosarcoma cells, monocyte-macrophage line, and endothelial cells under different conditions (stimulation or inhibition with pharmacological molecules). Interests were addressed also into phosphoinosistide signaling in the nervous system and degenerative diseases.
