Biography

He is a Professor of Surgery and affiliated with the Digestive Surgery Division and the Nucleus of General and Specialized Surgery at the School of Medicine. He is also a Specialist in Intensive Medicine, recognized by the Brazilian Medical Association and the Pan-American and Iberian Federation of Societies of Critical and Intensive Medicine. His published work and affiliations indicate expertise in digestive and esophageal surgery, as well as other surgical areas.
